Triathlons, Here I Come

Today was Britannia's and my first day of triathlon training.

His First Roll

No, Dustin didn't eat a roll. He rolled over for the first time!!!

Pine Nuts

Dustin and I went pine nut gathering with Tyrell, Janell and Derek. I got to climb a couple of trees. We didn't get very many pine nuts, but it was still worth it.

This was also the day I made my first batch of homemade bread and our mixer almost started on fire. Needless to say it was broken after I got through with it.

Good Riddance to Applesauce

We finished making applesauce today. We ended up with a total of 128 quart jars (combined between Joe & Britannia and Kearney & me) of regular, blueberry, crabapple, peach , lemon, and strawberry applesauce. It is yummy.

Applesauce

We started making and bottling applesauce today. It sure is hard work. We let Dustin try a little bit of homemade, fresh applesauce, but I think it was a little too much for him just yet.

Raspberry Peach Cobbler

JaNell gave Dustin his first taste of REAL food - raspberry peach cobbler. He obviously loved it.

Cereal

Dustin has started holding his bottle a little bit. We tried feeding him some cereal with a spoon...not such a good idea.
