The Rest of the Story

Just for your own peace of mind, Stuey didn't die...he didn't get in an accident either. Kearney and I were forced (in a sense) to trade him in for a car (baby prep). I am now scootin' around town in a 2008 Chevy Malibu. I actually quite like our new/used vehicle, but I feel like a complete traitor to Stuey. I'll always love that truck and I hope he finds a decent home with scenic, open roads. Here's to Stuey...

A Sad Farewell

Stuey (my truck) is officially gone. I am so sad. This is how I feel.

The Belly

A nice side view at 23 weeks.

There it is. Hard to imagine that there's a little baby boy inside. The doctor measured my belly at 24 cm at my 23-week appointment, which is good because apparently the cm's and weeks are supposed to correlate. His only concern was that I didn't gain any weight, but I'm eating as much as I can, so we'll just have to keep an eye on that. The baby's still kicking and rolling around, which I absolutely love!

Dad's B-day Weekend

Although Dad didn't know it at the time, we asked him to take us and the twins on a hike so the preparations could be made for his surprise birthday party later that night. (Not that we went on the hike just to keep him preoccupied; hiking with Dad is a favorite.)

Baby Pictures at 19 Weeks

A big stretch!

Although the umbilical cord is in front of his eyes, you can see a little smirk on his face.

This is a snapshot of Baby Wood as he was attempting to suck his thumb.

There's his cute little ear!

A Baby Boy

It's a boy!!!! Who would have thought that the next time we updated this blog, Kearney and I would be talking about our baby boy. Although he's still in the womb, we were able to get some great pictures of him from the ultrasound yesterday. We'll be 20 weeks along next Tuesday, so he's due to join us sometime at the end of May/beginning of June. He's quite active and it's still a little strange to me when I can feel him moving (although very reassuring at the same time).

In-Between the Two Beginnings

Just so you know, Kearney and I got married in the St. George Temple sometime between when we were engaged and now. In fact, we got married on June 7, 2008.

This is one of my favorites. We actually took this one a couple of weeks before we got married. (I almost passed out twice, which was kinda cool.)

The back of my wedding dress.

The gang.

How very romantic.
